FAQ
Should our
party tip the mate or is that included in the price of the trip?
The tip for the mate is not included in the price of the
trip. A tip of 20% of the charter rate is customary, as with
any service industry. Your mate works hard preparing, during
and after your charter so you have the opportunity to make the most
of your day with us. The bulk of his earnings are derived from
these monies and they are greatly appreciated as cash.
What should we bring with us?
You will want to bring food, drinks, camera, sunglasses,
sunscreen & enthusiasm! We provide the bait, ice, and tackle. Fish
cleaning services are available back at the dock for an additional
charge.
How many people can we bring?
Our USCG license enables us to accommodate up to 6
passengers.
Who gets the catch?
The charter is allowed to take as much of the catch as
they will reasonably eat, want to pay to have cleaned, or can
properly pack out. Fish cleaning is done by a professional
crew down the dock and costs 40 cents per pound. If you catch
more fish than you want/need the crew will gladly accept it since
this is their only source of fresh fish.
P.S. On certain days the Impulse
crew will do your fish cleaning for the same charge.
What about bad weather?
We can reschedule or refund the deposit, at the captain’s
discretion.
